At this time Arts & Health on-site hours are restricted.  Some live music has returned to the hallways of the hospital but our Request a Musician program is currently not available.  However, we have made our Arts & Health Coloring Book, Volume Two, available for download.  These coloring pages can be printed out or you can download and color them using your tablet.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Duke Health Employee Art Show

This exhibit will be on display through September 1, 2020 in the Mars Galleries, Duke University Hospital

For over 40 years, Arts & Health at Duke has believed that access to the arts is essential to the health and well-being of patients & staff.  Therefore, we invite and encourage all Duke Health Staff to share their work in this all-inclusive Duke Health Employee Art Show.  Works can be a visual representation of how you recharge, find inspiration, or reveal a talent not usually shared in your workplace.

Many artists in our community have asked how they can support our essential personnel during the COVID-19 crisis.

Would you like to share your appreciation to the Duke Health staff through the arts, with your original artwork & message?

If so, we would love to see them and share directly with those who have worked tirelessly to help our community during this unprecedented time. Your contributions are intended to provide encouragement, appreciation and emotional support for our healthcare staff.  Submissions will be shared with Duke Health employees and some may be printed for staff spaces.  Content may be shared on Arts & Health's facebook, twitter and instagram account sites.

Content will be vetted prior to public post and the artists will be identified.  By submitting work, you agree that the work is your original work and that you give permission to post on Duke's websites and other social media and to be printed for display in staff areas.

Please send your submissions in jpg, pdf or mp4 format and your name to Duke Health Appreciation Project.

Thank you!
